Job Description

Role: Global Retail Brand Training Specialist, Sportstyle

Employment Type: Full-time, with a hybrid working arrangement.

Location: Annecy, France

Department: Retail

Reporting to: Global Retail Training Manager

About Salomon

Salomon is a globally recognised French sports and outdoor brand with a heritage stretching back to 1947. Founded in Annecy, in the heart of the French Alps, the company has built its reputation on technical innovation, performance and a deep connection to mountain sports. Today, Salomon is recognised as a global leader in winter sports and trail running.

Part of Amer Sports, Salomon designs and develops premium footwear, apparel, equipment and accessories for activities including trail and road running, hiking, alpine and Nordic skiing, and snowboarding. The brand has also established a strong position within the sports-lifestyle market, where its technical products are increasingly worn beyond their original performance settings.

Salomon’s purpose is to help people unleash the best in themselves through mountain sports. Its strategy is to develop into a modern mountain-sports lifestyle brand that is inclusive, progressive and environmentally responsible, while continuing to deliver products that combine technical performance, functionality and distinctive design.

Innovation remains central to Salomon’s identity. From its pioneering ski-binding technology to influential products such as the XA Pro, S/LAB range and XT-6, the company has consistently developed products that shape sporting performance and culture. This pioneering mindset continues to guide Salomon as it expands its global presence and creates new experiences for athletes, consumers and outdoor communities worldwide.

The Opportunity

Salomon is seeking a Global Retail Brand Training Specialist, Sportstyle, to lead the development and delivery of global Sportstyle training content and learning experiences for Retail and Omni teams.

The role will translate Sportstyle product stories, campaigns, collaborations and consumer insights into premium, engaging and scalable training tools. These resources will strengthen brand understanding, service standards and the consumer experience across Salomon’s international markets.

Working closely with Brand, Product, Retail and regional training teams, the specialist will ensure that training is globally consistent while remaining relevant to local markets. The role will also support the internal activation of major campaigns, collaborations, capsule collections and product launches.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain Sportstyle training foundations, including eLearning modules, newsletters, launch materials, presentations, one-pagers, quizzes and seasonal toolkits.
  • Lead the training and internal activation components of major Sportstyle campaigns, collaborations, capsules and product launches.
  • Translate brand storytelling, consumer insights and product information into practical learning experiences that retail teams can use with consumers.
  • Partner with Brand, Product, Retail and regional training teams to deliver globally consistent but locally relevant content.
  • Support Train-the-Trainer sessions, market presentations, store visits and key seasonal training moments.
  • Gather feedback from stores, trainers and markets to continually improve content and training effectiveness.

Autonomy and Decision-Making

The specialist owns Sportstyle training projects and deliverables within agreed global priorities, with autonomy over content development, project coordination and execution.

The role works with the Global Brand and Product Training Manager to define priorities, manage timelines and align stakeholders across Brand, Product, Retail and regional teams.
